Assistant Professor of Communication, Director of Theatre Arts
Tricia joined TMU in 2008 to revitalize and expand the Theatre Arts program. Passionate about storytelling grounded in the sufficiency and authority of Scripture, she is dedicated to fostering a Biblical worldview in the study of acting and the performing arts. Through the Communication Department, she teaches various courses, including theatre arts, beginner and advanced acting, production, production design, and spoken communication. She also offers individual acting coaching, sharing her expertise more personally.
With a creative career spanning over two decades, Tricia has directed and produced over 24 full-length plays and musicals, organized live concerts and events, designed film productions, and performed in numerous stage and film roles. She continues to embrace acting opportunities across various mediums whenever possible.
Tricia and her husband, Dave—Pastor of Equipping at Calvary Baptist Santa Barbara—first met as students at The Master’s University. Together, they have joyfully served in ministry for over 20 years and cherish the privilege of working side by side in their shared calling.
