“We Get That Question All the Time!”

Can I Afford It?

Tuition is a lot more affordable than you may think. If you want to attend, we want to help make that happen for you. Your admissions counselor will be there to help every step of the way: For example, if you need assistance paying the $40 application fee, just let your counselor know.

You invest in us, and we likewise invest deeply in you. That means we’re working hard for you to get access to federal, state, and institutional aid in the form of grants, loans, need-based and merit-based scholarships, as well as work-study and other programs. About 93% of undergraduates receive some form of financial aid – why not you? The average financial aid package is around $20,000 per year. Just make sure to get your application in early and submit your FAFSA.

Is California a Safe Place to Go to College?

We encourage you to come and visit and see for yourself. The TMU campus itself is nestled in the private Placerita Canyon surrounded by horse and hiking trails. Located mere miles from beaches, mountains, desert, and the endless opportunities of Los Angeles, Santa Clarita was yet again ranked among the nation’s top 10 safest cities. The campus itself is also consistently top-ranked as the safest college campus in America, making it the perfect environment to attend school.

How Do Employers and Graduate Schools Perceive TMU?

With the high the demand of employers for top talent, many TMU students often have multiple offers before they graduate. Employers seek out not only our graduate’s skills but, more importantly, their integrity and work ethics rooted in an uncompromisingly biblical worldview.

Across many disciplines and programs, TMU students largely find success after graduation:

  • Teaching Credential students enjoy a virtually 100% job-placement rate.
  • Graduates from our School of Humanities have been accepted in 7 of the 10 top law schools.
  • Kinesiology graduates have been accepted to 29 graduate schools since 2007
  • Pre-Med students have a 95% medical school acceptance rate.

This success is attributed in part to small classes, faculty mentorship, classes taught by faculty and not by teaching assistants, and rigorous academics found in every major and program.

What Does Student Life Look Like?

There’s always something happening at TMU. Join a club, play an intramural sport, be part of theatre productions, attend campus-wide events, and so much more. While activities, athletics, dorm life, and outreach are a part of daily life, our approximately 1,000 undergraduates on-campus live in an intentional community to comprehensively develop godly lives marked by the four Distinctives of Biblical Living: Divine Authority, Heart Transformation, Sanctifying Relationships, and Gospel Witness. We strive to faithfully develop leaders who are salt and light in the world because of our great Savior.
