• The Accelerated Hybrid Accounting track is a challenging and rigorous option that combines on-campus and online courses.
• The B.S. in Accounting is an 8-week, 100% online program format offered through TMU Online.
• TMU B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies also includes an accounting block. This major allows students to design their own major by specializing in three areas of their choice.

Students learn how to solve complex accounting problems using current tools and technologies, as well as how to properly manage the financial transactions of individuals, companies, and other entities. Our students are trained in the necessary skills for both public accounting (CPA) and management accounting (CMA) careers.

Graduates from this emphasis enter the business world equipped with biblical values that will shape their approach to working as accountants. They are equipped with wisdom regarding the ethical aspects of their chosen profession, giving them the knowledge and discernment necessary to honor Christ in their work. Employers highly regard our graduates due to their honesty, integrity, and strong work ethic, and many have gone on to secure positions at the Big Four.

Program learning outcomes include:

1. Given necessary financial data for a business situation, demonstrate an in-depth working knowledge of the accounting cycle, including the development of accurate financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
2. Describe auditing standards, reports, and procedures necessary for performing an audit.
3. Demonstrate a basic working knowledge of taxation principles.
4. Demonstrate a working knowledge of cost accounting principles within a business situation.
