At TMU, academic excellence is an act of worship. You’ll study under professors who affirm the same comprehensive doctrinal statement — including a literal six-day creation — and champion the inerrancy, sufficiency, and authority of Scripture. These shared convictions inform every discipline, giving you a consistent biblical foundation as you pursue excellence in your field.
You’ll study alongside fellow believers who share your desire to follow Christ. Every applicant must provide a personal testimony of faith and a legitimate pastor’s recommendation, creating a close-knit community where you’ll build meaningful relationships with professors, staff, and fellow students who encourage you toward faithfulness.
You’ll only spend a few years in college, but you’ll spend the rest of your life needing and serving the local church. That’s why TMU requires weekly church involvement alongside chapel attendance — because the habits and affections you cultivate now will matter for decades to come.
You’ll receive a rigorous education from professors who teach their own classes and take a personal interest in your success. With an average class size of 20 students, you’ll have opportunities to learn directly from experienced faculty, develop expertise in your discipline, and prepare to faithfully honor Christ in your profession. TMU’s commitment to professional training has earned national recognition, including a No. 6 national ranking for career preparation from “The Wall Street Journal” in 2024.
