Book Your FlightsIf you plan to fly into the area, we recommend flying into Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR). It is about a 30-minute drive to campus without traffic. If this is not feasible, we suggest Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It is about a 1-hour drive to campus without traffic.
If you will not be staying with someone you know in the area, there are plenty of hotel or Airbnb options you can look into. It may be wise to reach out to some of your classmates to see if you can go in on an Airbnb place together.
Once you’ve found a place to stay, you will need to figure out how you are going to get to the university each day for classes. We simply recommend renting a car for the 9-day period, but once again, you may want to check with other students for carpooling to split the cost.
To use the library, every student must complete a patron registration form to get access to the library system and check out books. If you are not sure you are in our library’s system, please contact Miss T at .
If you find you still need to complete the form, please click the button below and fill out the form. You can then print the form, scan it back into your computer, and send a copy to to request to be put into the library database.
Once in the system, you will need to create a password for your account. For information on how to do that, you can watch this tutorial video.
This year’s parking pass will be provided for you free of charge by our campus safety team. When you arrive on-campus for a meet-n-greet, you will be receiving a temporary parking pass you can use for the whole duration of your time on-campus.

Due to space limitations we are not able to provide housing for our D.Min. students. We encourage you to find a place to stay with people either you know in the area or find an affordable Airbnb or hotel.
D.Min. students will need to procure their own meals. There are a number of restaurants within a short driving distance of the campus. See below for some of our favorite spots under Recommended Places to Visit.
The first two days (Thursday and Friday) will be spent in the library. Our head librarian, John Stone, will be teaching those of you new to the program about how to do good research using our library for the next chapter of your thesis. You will then spend the remaining time over those two days researching and studying. For those of you who are not new to the program, you should be able to get going on your research right away Thursday morning.
The final 6 days (Saturday and Monday through Friday) will be spent sitting in class learning from our distinguished professors. You can expect the class to include both instruction and dialogue. Coffee and other snacks will be provided throughout.
