The spring edition of The Master’s University Magazine is out today! In this edition, we highlight the faithful service of TMU alumni in their local churches. And in another story, we explain why local church involvement is one of our top priorities for our students and explore how that priority plays out.
In his letter at the beginning of this edition, Dr. Abner Chou, president of TMU, expresses gratitude for our alumni and their ongoing commitment to the Lord:
“We are so proud of the work you are doing in the career, church, and family that Christ has called you to. Your commitment to Christ and Scripture is shining as light to a dark and watching world. In this edition, you’ll meet fellow alumni who are tirelessly serving the Lord in a variety of ministries within the church.”
He goes on to connect this service to TMU’s reason for existence:
“At TMU, our mission is to equip the next generation of the church. We’re so thankful that our current students have you to look to as examples of faithfulness, and our aim is to support you as you ‘press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus’ (Phil. 3:14).”
