Don’t forget to reapply for donor or department scholarships. They will go live in December and will close in March.
Based on your Admissions application, you may qualify for our Alumni or Pastor and Missionary Dependent Scholarships.
To fulfill this requirement, please complete the TMU Community Scholarship application and select everything you are eligible for.

Student who are selected for Citizenship Documentation are required to submit proof of citizenship to the University.

Once we have received and verified the documentation, we will express mail the documents back and email the student a copy of the tracking number.
Note: Copies of these documents will not be accepted. They must be the original document.
The Financial Aid Department determines Financial Need through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You will need to complete the FAFSA on FAFSA.gov. If you are having difficulty completing the FAFSA, please contact the FAFSA Help Center.
Alternatively, if you or your parents do not want to complete the FAFSA, you can submit a FAFSA Waiver to www.masters.edu/upload.
Please note that by signing the FAFSA Waiver, you waive your ability to receive need-based grants, both federal and institutional.

Some students are selected for Federal Verification based on their FAFSA results. One of the steps in completing your verification is by completing the Federal Verification Worksheet.
If you are completing verification for the Fall of 2023, please complete either the print or online version of the 2023-24 Federal Verification Worksheet. (Note: there is both a student and parent portion of the online Federal Verification Worksheet).
If you are an Online Student completing verification for the Spring or Summer of 2023, please complete the 2022-23 Federal Verification Worksheet.

Student who have marked on their FAFSA that their family receives Food Stamp assistance many need to upload documentation that their family is currently still receiving assistance.
If your family has a benefits card (ex. SNAP Card) or some other form of documentation that they are or have received benefits, please upload a copy to www.masters.edu/upload.
Some student are selected for Special Verification by the U.S. Government. As part of the verification process, you may need to upload a copy of your Official High School Transcripts to www.masters.edu/upload.
If you have already sent the Admissions Department or the Registrar Department a copy of your Official High School Transcripts, please notify the Financial Aid Department.

A student may be selected for Housing Allowance Verification because their parent marked that they received Military/Clergy Housing Allowance on the FAFSA.
To verify this amount, we will need a copy of your parent’s 2021 W-2. You can upload their W-2 to www.masters.edu/upload.

International student are required to complete the online International Student Financial Aid Doc and the International Parent Supplement Doc in leu of the FAFSA. Note: If you are the age of 24 or older by January of 2023 or are currently married, you do not need a parent to complete the International Parent Supplement Doc.
The International Tax Docs are part of the above forms. You (and your parents) will need to attach any income or tax documents that you have for the 2021 year.
To verify the financial information from the FAFSA, the student, parent, or both will need to either use the IRS Data Retrieval tool when completing the FAFSA, or send the Financial Aid Department a copy of their IRS Tax Transcript from 2021. (Note: You will only need to complete this document if you or your parents filed taxes. If you were not required to file your 2021 taxes, please contact the Financial Aid Department)

If you are not able to use the IRS Data Retrieval tool, you can send the Financial Aid Department a copy of the IRS Tax Transcript, depending on whose we need.
