Your credits count, your general education is complete, and the Bible requirement fits. How close are you to a TMU degree? Find out at no cost.
A student who has completed IGETC arrives at The Master’s University with their general education finished. A student transferring with 24 or more units takes one Bible course each semester, taught by a faculty that affirms the inerrancy, sufficiency, and authority of Scripture.
We invite you to send a transcript and get a free evaluation of how near you already are to a degree at TMU!
At The Master’s University, we work to provide a straight path for students wanting to transfer here from a community college or other institution. If the Lord has set it on your heart to finish your degree at a university wholeheartedly committed to Christ and Scripture, we want to make it as easy as possible to do so.
TMU accepts IGETC and the CSU BREADTH pattern in full. Complete either and your non-Bible general education is finished the day you arrive, so you can immediately begin your major courses rather than repeating coursework.
Transfer with 24 or more units and the Bible requirement is one course each semester until graduation: Old Testament, New Testament, and theology, taught by professors who hold that Scripture is “profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). It adds depth to your degree without adding extra semesters.
“Trust in Yahweh with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways know Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
The process respects the fact that you are already busy. Transcripts may be sent to an admissions counselor at any time, before an application is submitted, for a free evaluation of exactly which credits transfer and what the path to graduation will be.
Transfer students are eligible for the same academic and church scholarships as incoming freshmen, including the Church Partner Scholarship through The Master’s Fellowship and the Ministry Matching Grant.
What a transfer student gains is not only a degree. It is chapel three times a week, involvement in one of the many faithful local churches in the area, professors who know your name and pray for you, and a family of ministries, from Grace Community Church to The Master’s Academy International, that will know you by graduation.
Transfer students tell us one thing more than anything else: They wish they had come sooner. We encourage you not to wait for your junior year — start the conversation today.
Students transferring into TMU often gravitate toward the interdisciplinary studies program because of the curriculum’s flexibility. It allows students to design their own major by specializing in multiple areas of their choice.
The impetus for the interdisciplinary studies degree comes from our understanding of Christ’s lordship over all things. Because all things hold together in Christ, all areas of life are connected — from science to technology to business to music and the humanities.
Under the guidance of an academic advisor, students choose two concentrations to form an individualized plan of study. This approach enables students to develop expertise in multiple areas while thinking more broadly about a given topic.
A third student-led block includes an internship and capstone course. The degree trains students to be resourceful — innovating and creating new solutions, as well as finding different ways to tackle old challenges. Students will demonstrate their interdisciplinary learning in a student-designed capstone project at the end of the program.

Our calling as Christians is an eternal one, and no ordinary education will meet that standard. Experience student life, academics, athletics, and preparation for professional excellence — all uncompromisingly committed to Christ and to the sufficiency, inerrancy, and authority of Scripture.
