We are excited about the presentations at the MABC Thesis Symposium this year. See the following guidelines for attending and presenting the event. Please join us in praying for the arrangements and everyone involved.
Students, guests (family, friends, etc. are welcome), and panelists will be present for the duration of the event and a break will be scheduled at around the halfway point.
Students and up to 3 guests are welcome to attend the Graduation Dinner immediately following the symposium at the same site. A local restaurant will be catering. An email will be sent to students at their Master’s email address requesting their RSVP with the estimated number of guests attending.
Students coming in for graduation out of town can arrange to pick up their regalia at the Registrar’s office or at the MABC office. Students may contact the Registrar or Jamaica Groover-Skelton to coordinate pick up.

Any updates about the Thesis Symposium or Graduation Dinner to follow will be posted here. We will try to let our graduates know about important updates, but please check back here regularly to ensure you are up-to-date.
As students prepare to present, they should consider the following format for how they should break up their time presenting their material…
2 min.
Summary of why the student chose to study in the MABC program, a highlight from their time in the program, and their plans to serve in biblical counseling after graduation
10 min.
Summary of the student’s Thesis Research Outline (broad overview of the project, including significant details, and related passages from Scripture)
10 min.
Q&A directed by the Lead Panelist (only Panelists will be able to ask questions due to time constraints)
In addition, students presenting should consider the following guidelines…

The Thesis Symposium and Graduation Dinner will both be held at Grace Baptist Church this year. Attendees should drive around the outside of the church to the backside of the main worship center and park in the area circled below on this map called Symposium Parking. Then they will enter the building through the doors indicated on this map by Enter Here. As soon as attendees enter, there will be signs directing them to what room they need to go to for their portion of the symposium. The rooms will be located to the right on either the first or second floor as soon as one enters the building.
Please contact us if you have any questions about the M.A. in Biblical Counseling program.
