Josh Bridges started at The Master’s University in 2018. A Hotchkiss Hall man through and through, living on campus gifted Josh with precious friendships and fond memories, while his experiences in the classroom transformed his view of Scripture and love for Christ for eternity. After getting married to his high school sweetheart, Kim, they continued to attend TMU while living off campus until Josh was offered a job as youth pastor at his childhood home church. In the same week of December 2021, Josh was installed as youth pastor at Grace Church Kelseyville, he graduated from TMU Online, and he became a father.

As youth pastor, Josh preaches and teaches multiple times a week while also planning events, encouraging parents, and spending time with students. Of all the biblical topics Josh studied at TMU, nothing fascinated him as much as biblical counseling; and now, counseling students has proven to be his greatest joy in ministry. He hopes to instill in his 6-12th graders a deep, devoted love for Christ and a genuine conviction about the authority of Scripture — two things that the Lord used TMU to instill in Josh.

Please pray that Josh and Kim would truly rely on the Lord for the strength to do ministry. Please also pray for the salvation of their children and for grace for Kim in the midst of chronic illness.
