The Master’s University is partnering with Children’s Hunger Fund (CHF) to offer a new scholarship for incoming TMU freshmen. This opportunity is designed to recognize and further equip students who, like CHF (a Christian non-profit that delivers food to children in need across the world), are committed to gospel-centered mercy ministry.

Applications will open Nov. 1 for incoming fall 2027 students. Five scholarships will be offered, each awarding $5,000 per year. Recipients must reapply annually to maintain their eligibility.

The scholarship is open to students pursuing any major, but preference will be given to students who demonstrate consistent involvement in mercy ministry, a strong connection to the local church, and a clear vision for connecting their education with future service.

In order to apply, students must submit a resume detailing their past experiences in this field, as well as their plans to pursue mercy ministry in the future. Students who are awarded the scholarship will partner with CHF over the course of the year, including participating in volunteer shifts and experiencing their Poverty Encounter.
