This week, Dr. Dwight Ham was honored by the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority for 22 years of service on the Citizens Advisory and Oversight Committee. Over those years, Ham served several terms as the committee’s chairman.

“I enjoyed serving LA Metro and my fellow citizens,” Ham wrote in an announcement. “This has been a fantastic experience.”

During Ham’s tenure, the committee participated in major expansion projects throughout Los Angeles County. On multiple occasions, Ham’s position enabled him to invite TMU students to tour the Metro headquarters at Union Station and network with leading city officials.

Ham serves as chair of the business department at The Master’s University. In addition to his role at TMU, Ham has had a prolific and well-recognized career in business. In 2022, he was named CFO of the Year in the growing business category by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal, in recognition of his service at Guardian Drain Lock in Simi Valley, California.
