The Master’s University is a Christian liberal arts university that exists to equip the next generation of the church for lives of faithfulness to Christ.
For those who have not experienced TMU firsthand, here are 10 glimpses into life at the university.
TMU holds firm to the sufficiency, inerrancy, and authority of Scripture, and this conviction is foundational to everything else that the University is and does.
TMU enjoys an average of over 280 days of sunshine every year. Its location also places students within a short driving distance of many of Southern California’s best offerings.
Through programs such as TMU Italy, the Israel Bible Extension Program (IBEX), and the Turkey and Greece Trip, students have the opportunity to take the classroom with them around the world.
The heartbeat of TMU is felt during chapel, where the entire student body comes together on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to worship Christ and study His Word.
Since opening, Trophy Coffee has become a daily staple for TMU students. Members of the TMU community gather there to study and hang out with friends in the center of campus.
In 2024, TMU built four new pickleball courts on campus. Now, almost every night, the courts are full of students enjoying the addition.
A choir composed of auditioned singers, The Master’s University Chorale performs both on campus and on the road, with tours taking them throughout the States and across the globe.
From the history of Hotchkiss Hall to apartment-style living in Slight Hall, TMU’s dorm buildings and Canyon Homes offer a variety of options to students.
From ultimate frisbee and national parks to chess and fountain pens, TMU hosts 10+ unique clubs that allow students to pursue existing interests or explore new ones.
TMU’s intramural sports offer a chance for non-athletes to enjoy competing against their classmates. Sports offered include volleyball, soccer, basketball, and pickleball.
