Before joining TMU, Dr. Forgerson built an impressive career in accounting, starting with a “Big Four” international accounting firm. He then spent over a decade as the controller for a real estate investment partnership. Today, he keeps his business and accounting expertise sharp through his own tax and law practice while serving as an accountant and internal auditor for several non-profit organizations. In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Forgerson has a rich background in ministry. He has led college Bible studies, served as a high school pastor at Grace Community Church, and held the role of elder at a local community church. Passionate about mentoring youth, he frequently speaks at camps and outreach events, sharing his knowledge and faith whenever the opportunity arises.
