Church Scholarships
The Master's University Doctor in Ministry of Biblical Counseling

Amount:

$14,000. Awarded as $3,500 per year for up to 4 years.

  • Faith Community Church (Newhall, CA)
  • Placerita Bible Church (Newhall, CA)
  • Faith Bible Church (Spokane, WA)
  • Crossroads Community Church (Valencia, CA)
  • Grace Baptist Church (Santa Clarita, CA)
  • Faith Community Bible Church (Boise, ID)
  • San Tan Bible Church (Gilbert, AZ)

Eligibility:

This scholarship is for new, incoming traditional undergraduate freshmen or transfer students. The student must be a member or regular attendee of the partnered church (listed above), and provide the pastor’s recommendation from the listed church in their application for traditional undergraduate admissions.

Students must apply to this scholarship in order to be eligible. Scholarship awards are not automatic.

The student must have a high school GPA of 3.0 or above, or transfer student must have a transfer GPA of 3.0 or above. Awards are dependent on GPA, FAFSA, and Need.

Scholarships are limited to five (5) per church. Once all scholarships have been awarded, eligible students who have not been awarded may be placed on a scholarship waitlist.

The Church Scholarship, is apart of the TMU Community (TMUC) Scholarships, please note that TMUC Scholarships cannot be stacked with each other, but can stack with most other forms of aid. [TMUC Scholarships include: Alumni, PMD, Church Scholarship, TMF Scholarship, Red & Blue, and First Generation]

The Master's Fellowship (TMF) Church Partner Scholarships

Amount:

$14,000. Awarded as $3,500 per year for up to 4 years.

Eligible Church Partners:

The Master’s Fellowship (TMF) Member Churches

Eligibility:

This scholarship is for new, incoming traditional undergraduate freshmen or transfer students.

The student must be a member or regular attendee of a TMF member church, and provide the pastor’s recommendation from the TMF church in their application for traditional undergraduate admissions.

Students must apply to this scholarship in order to be eligible. Scholarship awards are not automatic.

Scholarships are limited to ten (10) total. Once all scholarships have been awarded, eligible students who have not been awarded may be placed on a scholarship waitlist.

Pastor and Missionary Dependent Scholarship

Amount:

$16,000. Awarded as $4,000/year across up to 4 years.

Eligibility:

Awarded to full-time students demonstrating need, who are dependents of full-time pastors or missionaries who provide their family’s primary support and whose ministries are consistent with the mission of TMU.

Ministry Matching Grant
The Master's University Doctor in Ministry of Biblical Counseling Overview

Amount:

$12,000, awarded as TMU matching up to $1,500/year for all ministry scholarships per student across 4 years.

Eligibility:

Awarded to students who receive sponsorship from a Christian ministry. TMU will match, on a dollar-for-dollar basis, up to a total of $1,500 per student, as long as funds remain available.

The Master's Global Scholarship
The Master's University undergraduate global outreach

Eligibility:

The Master’s Global Scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to deserving students showing reasonable progress towards the completion of a degree at The Master’s University.

 

This scholarship is currently on a waitlist for the 2023-24 year.
