Minors
At TMU, students have the unique opportunity to earn a minor in Biblical Studies by completing 24 Bible units as part of their General Education requirements. Beyond their primary major, students can explore a variety of other minors by completing 15 to 27 units, depending on the specific program.
For those seeking greater flexibility in their academic journey, the B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies allows students to create a customized major by combining three areas of interest, such as Kinesiology.
The Biblical Studies minor requires 24 units, structured as follows:
- B101, B102: Old Testament Survey I & II (6 units)
- B121: Essentials of Christian Thought (3 units)
- B201, B202: New Testament Survey I & II (6 units)
- BTH321, BTH322: Christian Theology I & II (6 units)
- Bible Elective: Any Bible course of choice (3 units)
This thoughtfully designed curriculum provides students with a solid foundation in Biblical knowledge, enhancing both their spiritual growth and academic endeavors while perfectly complementing their chosen fields of study.
