Next week, The Master’s University will be hosting a special chapel series to honor longtime president and chancellor Dr. John MacArthur. The series will be an annual part of TMU’s chapel schedule.
“MacArthur Week is a celebration of the legacy that our chancellor, Pastor John MacArthur, has left us,” said Campus Pastor Jeremy Vuolo. “He has taught us for years how to study the Word and love Christ; we simply want to continue in that tradition.”
The theme of the week, “The Inspired Word,” will reflect MacArthur’s diligence in standing on the Word of God as the believer’s ultimate authority. “We are all reaping the benefit of Pastor John’s life and ministry,” said Vuolo, “and I want us to be aware of that.”
The speaker lineup for the week will be Brett Zamroz (TMU dean of Student Life), Jesse Johnson (TMU board member and pastor of Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, Virginia), and Jonny Ardavanis (lead pastor of Stone Bridge Bible Church in Brentwood, Tennessee).
