Monte Brooks earned the 800th win of his storied career as head baseball coach of The Master’s University on Friday in Fort Worth, Texas. The milestone came in a 12-7 victory over Texas Wesleyan.

Brooks is in his 27th season as TMU’s head coach. He’s one of only 13 active coaches in the NAIA to reach 800 wins.

In his career, Brooks has led the Mustangs to four NAIA World Series and three Golden State Athletic Conference championships. More importantly, he has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to Christ and Scripture and to discipling the hundreds of players God has blessed him with.
