Winterim Astronomy Course
Dr. Jason Lisle, a globally recognized Christian astrophysicist will be teaching Winterim Astronomy at The Master’s University this January 2020. Dr. Lisle specializes in solar astrophysics and has made a number of scientific discoveries regarding the solar photosphere, including the detection of giant cell boundaries using the SOHO spacecraft. He has dedicated his life to the communication of the gospel through science, and is focused on equipping others to do the same with his full-time work in apologetics ministry.

- January 8, 9, 10, 31, 14, 15 from 8:30am - 1:00pm in RCSM 23
Astronomy PS338 Lab
- January 8, 9, 10, 13, 14 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm in RCSM 10 and outside (weather permitting, may need to meet on Saturday night due to weather conditions)
The astronomy lab and lecture with Dr. Jason Lisle will count as elective credit; Teacher Education and Liberal Studies students can receive elective science credit. For any questions, please contact your advisor.
Dual enrollment students have the option to take the lab as a separate course for credit. They can obtain either lecture of lab credit or both for their general education science requirement.
