Born in California, raised in Oregon, Dave attended TMC in the late 90's where he met his wife, Tricia, and they were married shortly after graduating. Dave pursued work for a short while in construction but always felt called back to student ministry. He was a Resident Director of C.W. Smith dormitory (CDub) for several years and then left for pastoral ministry in church planting with another TMC grad in Florida. Eventually Dave returned to TMC to take the Associate Dean position and is thrilled to lead the team of Resident Directors and Assistants in Residence Life. His wife, Tricia, is involved in the Music Department at TMC where she directs the Theatre program.

Summer was born and raised in Southern California. She came to The Master’s College in 2005 to begin work on her Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling. The Master’s College was her top choice of study because of its commitment to the sufficiency and authority of God’s Word. Her study of biblical counseling changed her life and, as a result, she desires to bring the encouragement and hope provided through the Scriptures to the students here at the College. Summer currently serves as the Associate Dean of Students.  Summer was a Resident Director in CDub from 2006—2007 and in Hotchkiss Hall from 2011-2013.  She also coordinated the Women Discipling Women Conference from 2006-2012.

Fast Facts:

A Favorite Scripture Verse: Psalm 23

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

Some Favorite Activities:

In her free time, Summer loves to craft, thrift, travel, rollerblade, visit with family and friends, and can often be found by the pool or at the beach.
