The Paleontology emphasis provides a hands-on and thoroughly biblical education in the science of fossils. Starting from a confident affirmation of the Bible’s worldview (including six-day creation), we teach out students to use Scripture as their solid foundation as they wrestle with the exciting and difficult questions posed by paleontology. But our program is about much more than simply exploring the creation/evolution debate—we believe that science is first and foremost an act of worship, as we glorify God by studying the diversity and complexity of what He has created.
This program is thoroughly practical, including field trips to museums and sites of geological and paleontological interest. Our students also have opportunities to participate in research projects alongside their professors, and some of our past students have contributed to published scientific articles during their time here. Our faculty are well-equipped to disciple their students through the opportunities and difficulties of being a Christian scientist among secular colleagues, since they have faced these same situations in their own academic pursuits.
TMU’s School of SMT&H is committed to producing students who exhibit academic excellence and who bear exemplary witness to Christ. Holding firm to the truth and inerrancy of Scripture, The Master’s University teaches all classes with the unshakeable foundation of the Bible. Students will graduate ready to go on to the next step in their careers, defend their faith as equipped and intellectual workers, and break new ground in their fields.

We hold Christ and Scripture as inerrant and above all else. Everything is interpreted through that lens without compromise. This means the Bible is the foundation for science, not science for the Bible.Dr. Joe Francis, Dean of the School of Science
