CELLULAR & MOLECULAR BIOLOGY

Faculty

Bachelor’s in Biology (B.A. or B.S.), emphasis in Cellular & Molecular Biology

Many of the most important discoveries in science in the last 60 years have taken place in this field. Because of the complexity of life at this level, students in this emphasis enjoy some of the most challenging courses in the biology major.

Graduates may move into in-demand and rapidly growing careers in medicine and health, scientific research, forensic science, drug manufacture and design, and other fields in wide array of industries.

Our program is uniquely dedicated to academic excellence, real-world career preparation, and developing lifelong patterns of intellectual growth while also being uncompromising in the faith. We are committed to producing students who are intellectually competent and an exemplary testimony no matter what discipline they study. Holding firm to the truth and inerrancy of Scripture, we teach all classes with the unshakeable foundation of the Bible. Students will graduate ready to go onto the next step in their field, and defend their faith as an equipped and intellectual worker and break new ground.

WE HOLD CHRIST AND SCRIPTURE AS INERRANT AND ABOVE ALL ELSE. EVERYTHING IS INTERPRETED THROUGH THAT LENS WITHOUT COMPROMISE. THIS MEANS THE BIBLE IS THE FOUNDATION FOR SCIENCE, NOT SCIENCE FOR THE BIBLE. - Dr. Joe Francis, Dean of the School of Science, Mathematics, Technology & Health
