Biblical Languages

Overview

The Biblical Languages emphasis consists of three years of biblical Greek and one year of Hebrew. It is designed primarily for those desiring graduate work, either in seminary or in languages and Bible translation. The program provides a foundation for the understanding of the Scriptures. Students will study the texts in their original language and focus on the authors’ intentions and how the Old and New Testaments work together in context. They will also learn how to engage with commentaries and works from scholars, broadening their available resources.
