Music Scholarships

To be accepted into The Master’s University School of Music you are required to submit a School of Music Application and audition on your chosen primary instrument. Auditions are traditionally held on-campus but because of our current campus closure, we have moved to video auditions for the remainder of the semester.

School of Music Application Steps:

  1. Download and complete a School of Music Application.

  2. Upload your audition video to YouTube or Google Drive.

  3. Email Jennifer Ehlen at a copy of your School of Music Application, a link to your entrance audition video, and an indication of your desire to be considered for a Music Scholarship. You will be emailed your School of Music acceptance and scholarship award within two weeks of submission.

Entrance & Scholarship Audition Video:

Prepare appropriate selections in accordance with the requirements listed for each instrument below. You may wish to consult a teacher to help make a selection that best demonstrates your musical ability. Please note, you are NOT required to perform scales or sight-read for this video but instead, be prepared to take a Music Fundamentals Exam and a scales and sight-reading assessment before classes begin in the fall.

If you require an accompanist (vocalists only), you may use a track to accompany you.

Your video will be evaluated by the appropriate music faculty and based upon it, you may be considered to receive music scholarship (funds permitting.)
