This month, 341 traditional undergraduate students are graduating from The Master’s University, making 2025’s graduating class the largest in school history.
This year’s online graduating class also includes 138 students and the first-ever cohort from TMU’s Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Counseling program.
“As we prepare to celebrate this historic graduating class, I am reminded of God’s tremendous gift of these precious students,” says Dr. Mitch Hopewell, TMU’s provost and chief academic officer. “In a time where many schools are facing declining enrollments, the Lord has entrusted TMU with an increase. In addition to this significant milestone, we also celebrate TMU’s inaugural conferral of terminal degrees, which are in the Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Counseling program.”
TMU’s upcoming Commencement will see 423 students in total walking across the stage, with many students in TMU’s online programs visiting campus to participate. Dr. Kurt Hild — professor of English — is scheduled to give the Commencement address.
“Graduation is a momentous occasion, commemorating not only achievement and commission, but also the hard work and sacrifice of so many that have made this moment possible,” says TMU’s president, Dr. Abner Chou. “In going forth and engaging in various ministries, this graduating class joins those before them, directly demonstrating and fulfilling the promise Christ made all those years ago. May the Lord use them mightily for such an eternal purpose.”
