Incoming international students come for an international student orientation two days before TMU’s Week of Welcome. The aim for these two days is to help students adapt to the culture and ease into life at The Master’s University.
This event is a time of fellowship for incoming freshmen, allowing them to build friendships with returning international students. Students are invited to an evening of games and yummy food!
Mid-Fall, all international students are invited to a retreat away from campus. This is an opportunity for students to take a break from studies and enjoy a time of fellowship and encouragement.
Fall is for pumpkin carving, cookies, and for having fun! At this event, students do just that! From cooking contests to just going out, this event gives international students a chance to fellowship and enjoy the fall together.
At the beginning of the Spring semester, international students are invited to a multiple course meal, hosted by various TMU faculty across Santa Clarita. This is a wonderful opportunity for the students to build more connections with one another as well as meet staff.
From ice skating, to hiking, to escape rooms, the spring event is all about getting refreshed for the last couple months of school. This event encourages and pushes international students to finish the year strong.
At the end of the year, we enjoy celebrating all the hard work our international students have put in, and especially that of our international graduates!
