David van Wingerden is the COO of Express Seed Company in Ohio, which acquires plants globally to sell to businesses in North America. He is a husband and father of five. Three of his children have attended TMU, two are younger. He and his wife, Keri, are 1995 alumni of TMC/TMU, and he has a degree from both the business and Bible departments. After graduating, David and Keri spent time in Ethiopia as missionaries with Double Harvest before joining the family business of growing plants. He is a long-time member and deacon of Grace Church of North Olmsted. David joined the TMU board in 2021.
