The Master's College women's soccer team fell to No. 3 Azusa Pacific 1-0 Saturday afternoon.  The Lady Mustangs record drops to 7-5 (1-2), and the Cougars record goes to 6-1-1 (2-1).

The first half was fairly quiet for both teams as the Cougars and Mustangs were scoreless at halftime.  Azusa outshot TMC six to four in the first half.

Azusa only scored once in the second half, but that was enough as the Lady Mustangs never found the back of the net.

The score came in the 57th minute on a corner kick from Natalie Nick.  Molly Lavin took the assist and scored on a header.

Coach Lewis's squad had some opportunities throughout the second half but never capitalized which lead to their second loss this week.

The Lady Mustangs will travel to Fullerton to take on Hope International on Wednesday afternoon.
