The No. 12 ranked Master's College women's soccer team improved it's record to 5-2 on Friday  afternoon at the Menlo Invitational in Atherton, California, coming from behind to defeat a solid Corban University squad.

Corban would led for the entire first half as the Warriors scored a goal from Audrey Sullivan in the 15th minute.

TMC did not net a goal until the second half when Katie Trevino scored unassisted in the first five minutes of the second half.  The go-ahead goal for the Lady Mustangs came less than six minutes later from Natasha Coyle and was also unassisted.

Coach Lewis's team notched an insurance goal in the final minutes of the game.  This time Shea Richards got the assist as Coyle netted her second goal of the game.

All three goals and the assist came from freshmen.

Master's out-shot Corban 33-8 while Ilyssa Espiritu had four saves on the day.

The Lady Mustangs return to action Saturday afternoon in their second match of the Menlo Invitational as they play Holy Names at 4:00pm.
