SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – The Master’s College women’s soccer team looks to a strong future with the signing of Jenae Garcia.

Garcia, a Paramount native, is currently a senior at Long Beach Wilson High School and looks to aid the Lady Mustangs at the Left-Mid position in 2014.

In her time as a Bruin, Garcia has developed an impressive portfolio containing “Most Valuable Offensive Player” honors, Moore League champions, and CIF champions.

Looking to major in Liberal Studies (teacher education) for a career in teaching, Garcia felt that The Master’s College was a great fit for her collegiate studies.

GarciaFam.jpg“I chose The Master’s College because it's a Christian school that offered elementary education.  Also, after practicing with the soccer team, I knew they were a family I wanted to be a part of.”

That “family” is already thrilled to have Garcia joining it in 2014.

“Jenae’s character and athleticism is really going to aid us in the future. Signing her was a no-brainer!” commented head coach Curtis Lewis. “We got her out here last spring and she meshed well with the girls. I really think that she’s going to contribute to us down the line.”

And even before she kicks off her career as a Lady Mustang, Garcia already has her mind set on an admirable goal that she is determined to achieve.

“My goal is to contribute to The Master’s College women’s soccer team and be a part of a championship squad,” further assessed Garcia. “I can’t wait to play with the Lady Mustangs.”
