Emily: I first heard about TMC from friends from church.
Emily: During my time competing for The Master's College, I received Team MVP, NAIA All American (honorable mention, first team), All GSAC, GSAC Player of the Year, All NCCAA, NCCAA Player of the Year.
Emily: It was great having girls who were similar to me to keep me accountable. We were with each other day in and day out and got to see the pretty and the ugly sides of everyone. I believe it was the first team where I felt true unity and had to fight to keep it that way- and I had people who loved me enough to tell me when I needed to change. I also believe I grew the most spiritually both through injuries and the examples other left for me- older and younger. And I was able to become more like Jesus as others exemplified the characteristics of Jesus to me.
Emily: I don’t know if this qualifies as a prank, but I laugh out loud every time I think about the day we all came out dressed like messy, wet, five year olds to surprise Curtis on his 30th birthday. Robyn Estrada came out with goggles and wet pants and Kayla Davis wore underwear on the outside of her pants. We are special.
