BONSALL, Calif --  Sophomore Thane Ringler (Hutchinson, Kansas) posted a 1-under, 71, the low round on the final day of competion, earning him a second place tournament finish just three strokes off the pace set by Golden State Athletic Conference rival, Ryan Ellerbrock, from Point Loma Nazarene.  As a team, The Master's finished 6th in the twelve team field just one stroke behind 5th place Simon Fraser University from Burnaby, British Columbia.

Michael Reitz (Denver, Colorado) was the next best individual finisher for the Mustangs, as he finished tied for 18th in the field of 72 golfers.  Coach Jason Semelsberger said, "Our (team) results were frustrating because every guy on the team is working hard and on the same page.  We are doing all the right things that we know to do and the results have not come yet."

The Mustangs will return to action on February 27-28 as the travel to compete in the San Antonio Shoot-out at the Bandit Golf Course in Sequin, TX.  The men are scheduled to compete head to head with some of the top golf programs in the NAIA as three of the top six teams in the nation are scheduled to attend, as well as four other schools that are ranked in the top 20.
