2011: Highly-touted prospect brings high-level prep ball experience to the college game…has all the physical and mental tools needed to succeed…blessed with superb hands and a strong, consistent arm, he will start the year at either third base or shortstop…displays good plate discipline, approaches the ball well, and hits to all fields…will see time on the mound where he throws in the high 80s and breaks off a dazzling curve.

Wilson HS: Playing in one of Southern California's premier programs, he was a three-year varsity starter for Coach Andy Hall and the Bruins…was a regular on the left side of the infield and also pitched…as a sophomore, he hit .333 with 16 rbi and no-hit Moore League opponent, Long Beach Jordan, as the Bruins advanced to the CIF Southern Section Division I championship game…in his junior year, he hit .312 with 18 rbi and earned All-Moore League first-team honors…capped a stellar prep career in 2010 when his .372 average and 25 rbi earned him first-team, all-league kudos for the second year in a row and a spot on the Long Beach Press-Telegram's "Dream Team."
