Mr. Blackwell received a B.S. in Physics from Iowa State University in 1969 and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University in 1979. He accumulated over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry with The Boeing Company, Hughes Electronics and General Electric. In his depth of experience, Mr. Blackwell originated a work center team network and received the Hughes Electronics’ Malcom Currie Award for an innovative Team Incentive Plan, developed a unique Hourly Career Development Plan to provide clear paths for promotions, implemented employee appreciation award programs, managed Total Quality Assurance systems, and launched company-wide training in design of experiments and statistical process control. Mr. Blackwell is married with three children. His outside interests include astronomy, photography and computers.
