Maryam Maghen earned her B.A. from the Master’s College in Biblical Studies in 2004 and her M.A. in History from California State University Northridge in 2010 (emphasis on the intellectual history of the early-modern Atlantic world). Her research interests include the intellectual rationale behind the endemic violence during the French Revolution; the controversy surrounding the historiography of the French Revolution; the intellectual/historical origins of twentieth-century Totalitarianism and Statism; and the history of Progressivism in the U.K. and U.S.
