Winterim Astronomy Course

Dr. Jason Lisle, a globally recognized Christian astrophysicist will be teaching Winterim Astronomy at The Master’s University this January 2018. Dr. Lisle specializes in solar astrophysics and has made a number of scientific discoveries regarding the solar photosphere, including the detection of giant cell boundaries using the SOHO spacecraft. He has dedicated his life to the communication of the gospel through science, and is focused on equipping others to do the same with his full-time work in apologetics ministry.

  • January 3-5 8:30am - 1:00pm

Astronomy PS338 Lab

  • January 3-5 7:00pm - 9:00pm

  • January 8-9 7:00pm - 9:00pm

The astronomy lab and lecture with Dr. Jason Lisle will count as elective credit; Teacher Education and Liberal Studies students can receive elective science credit. For any questions, please contact your advisor.
