Application Process



Financial aid is offered to students who have been accepted to the The Master's College. (For more information on admission to the college, click here.) However, you can begin to gather financial aid documents while completing the admissions process.


To apply for financial aid:
  1. Submit the 2009/2010 Financial Aid Application.
  2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), listing The Master's College as one of your preferred school choices (Title IV school code: 001220).
  3. First year freshmen are required to complete a Verfication Worksheet and submit a signed 1040 and relevant W-2s for both yourself (if applicable) and your parents.
  4. Submit all documents listed above and/or requested by the Financial Aid Office by March 2nd for priority awarding.
  5. Once you receive an award letter from our office, follow the instructions given to accept or decline the financial aid offered.

California Residents: To appy for the Cal Grant, complete the FAFSA and submit a GPA Verification form through your high school counselor or college registrar by March 2nd. If home-schooled, contact the Office of Financial Aid for information on how to submit your GPA to the California Student Aid Commission.


To be eligible for federal financial aid a student must:
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
  • Be enrolled at least half-time (6 units).
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress. (Click here to view the undergraduate policy.)
  • Not be in default on any student loans.
  • Meet selective services registration requirements (Men only; click here for more information).
