TMC Rated Second in America's Best Colleges
The 2011
Edition of "America's Best Colleges" has been released by U.S. News
& World Report. Highlights of the College rankings will appear
in the magazine's August 31, 2010 issue - the 2011 Best Colleges
Guidebook will be available on newsstands beginning Tuesday, August
24.
The Master's College was one of 319 institutions (292 of which
were ranked nationally) in the "Regional College" (previously
"Comprehensive Baccalaureate College") category.
This year TMC tied for second (2nd) place among the
thirty-six (36) Western Region Colleges.
This marks the eleventh year in a row that TMC was listed in the
"First Tier*" of twenty-eight (28) Western Region Colleges
(15-state territory). Included below are a few 'highlights' from
the U.S. News information.
* U.S. News & World Report's 'Ranking Methodology'
changed this year to include rankings for the top 75% (previously
the top 50%) of schools as 'First Tier.

This year, TMC was ranked fairly high among the First Tier Western
Region Colleges in the following areas:
