III. Improper Uses of the Logo
Improper proportion of logo
The size of the mark in relationship to the typography should not be altered. Reduce and enlarge logos proportionately.

Improper placement of emblem
The placement of the shield emblem relative to the typography should not be altered.

Framing of the logo
The mark and typography should never be framed in a restricting box, shape or specific area.

Improper Coloring
The Logo cannot be used in any color other than the colors specified in this style guide.

Other Incorrect Logo and Word Mark Usages
The examples shown represent incorrect usage of The Master’s College logo.
- Do not use part of the logo, such as “Master’s” without The” and “College” or “Master’s College” without “The.”
- Do not angle or rotate the logo.
- Do not use the logo as a pattern in the foreground or background.
- Do not stretch, distort or alter the logo in any way.
- Do not use a different typeface in the logo.
- Do not use The Master’s College Logotype without the symbol.
- Do not use centered type with the horizontal logo.
- Always use an apostrophe in “Master’s.”
- Never omit the motto “for Christ and Scripture.”
- Do not substitute any name or descriptor in the place of the motto “for Christ and Scripture" except the deaprtment names as approved.
Incorrect Background Usage
The examples shown represent incorrect usage of The Master’s College logo on different backgrounds.
- Do not use any color that is not an approved background color.
- Do not use the logo on any secondary color.
- Do not use the one-color gold logo on light-colored backgrounds.
- Do not use the white logo reversed out of gold.
- Do not use the white logo reversed out of neutral background colors.
- Do not use any version of the logo on top of a patterned background.
- Do not use any version of the logo on top of a photograph.
