The Master's College is an advocate for the health and well-being of students through the provision of the Health Center.
The Health Center is staffed by a registered nurse and is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (excluding holidays). Here, students may obtain advice and treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, as well as over-the-counter medications for temporary symptom relief, but the Health Center is not equipped to handle serious conditions or medical emergencies. If these types of conditions should arise, the student must be referred off campus for appropriate treatment at their own expense.
The Health Center is located between the Family and Consumer Sciences Center and the Degree Completion office, next to Placerita Bible Church, along Placerita Canyon Road. Please email or call the Health Center if you are injured.

Outbreaks of mumps have been occurring at many colleges and universities in the Eastern and Midwestern United States, and now at the University of San Diego. As students return from their travels during Spring Break, mumps may be introduced onto your campus.
Steps you can take include:
Encourage all students who have had fewer than two doses of MMR vaccine to catch up in order to reduce their risk.
No cases of Mumps have been documented at The Master's College.
