Job Description

Basic Position Description:

The Director for Enrollment is responsible for directly supervising the Enrollment Department. The Director is responsible for maintaining undergraduate student enrollment at optimal levels.

Reports to/Supervises:

This position reports to Senior Vice President and supervises the Enrollment Department.

Essential Duties (include, but not limited to):

Oversee all undergraduate enrollment including retention efforts. Interview, recruit, hire, train, develop, and evaluate all staff personnel. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, directing, and evaluating work,; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Accountable for the results of the department. Will conduct regular departmental staff meetings. Will plan, maintain, and administer departmental budget. Design, maintain, audit, and evaluate the departmental database management systems. Will implement new systems/upgrades as required. Will interact with faculty, coaches, staff, and administration to coordinate successful campus visits. Participate and drive the development of marketing materials, developing, auditing, revising, and/or implementing and maintaining recruitment procedures and processes. Will oversee the process of recruiting prospective students by contacting prospects, explaining courses offered and quoting fees. Will oversee, manage, and evaluate the process of interviewing students, advising and assisting students in the financial aid process, transcripts and transfer credit assessment, student enrollment status, and the evaluation of students as related to admissions requirements. This position requires standing, sitting, walking, lifting, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, learning, problem solving, and interacting with others throughout the workday. Regular attendance is essential.

Qualifications (include, but not limited to):


Three to five (3-5) years experience in enrollment with an educational institution is required. Must exhibit extensive knowledge of all aspects of admissions policies and procedures as well as extensive knowledge of the financial aid process. Experience in a private, religious college/university setting is highly preferred.


Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

Skills, Mental Demands, Physical Demands, Visual Demands:

Have computer proficiency. Basic mathematics and accounting knowledge is necessary. Excellent oral and written command of the English language is required. Ability to compose, proofread and edit correspondence. Possess excellent organizational skills. Exercise confidentiality, good judgment and discernment. Service oriented and able to interface with many people is mandatory. Multitasked in an environment with many distractions is a must. Able to lift, pull, push, grasp and bend while lifting up to 20lbs. Repetitive motions on a keyboard, and looking at a computer monitor for an extended duration of time is required. Reading and comprehending correspondence is imperative.

Working Environment:

Indoors are comfortable with some distractions. Outdoors vary on date, time & location.

Additional Requirements:

A demonstrated commitment to the doctrinal position of TMC & S and a continuous exhibition of a desire to minister and serve others in varied capacities.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, faculty, vendors, students, &/or community members of diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural, & ethnic backgrounds.

Compensation is commensurate with qualifications & experience. Medical benefits are provided for a nominal employee contribution. Group dental benefits are available.
