SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – The Lady Mustangs will continue pool play in the 2012 National Championships today at 3:45 PM (PST) against Viterbo (La Crosse, Wisconsin).

Coming on the heels of a less than desirable performance against CSU San Marcos on Tuesday night, the Lady Mustangs look to rebound and continue to keep their national title hopes alive against the V-Hawks.

Momentum weighs in favor of Viterbo as the V-Hawks notched their first-ever win over an NAIA Top-10 ranked opponent as they defeated #7 Indiana Wesleyan 3-1 in the opening match of pool play yesterday.

Despite last night’s showing, the Lady Mustangs possess a solid record of competing with nationally-ranked teams as they topped four NAIA Top-25 powers during the course of their 2012 campaign.
