Santa Clarita, Calif. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 408 volleyball student-athletes have been named 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

One junior and two seniors represented the Lady Mustangs: Rebecca Peluffo (La Crescenta, CA), Tori Callihan (Simi Valley, CA), and Rachel Taylor (Sun Valley, CA).

Recently, TMC Volleyball competed in the 2012 NAIA National Championships. The Lady Mustangs’ 2012 campaign came to a close by means of a 3-1 loss against Oklahoma Baptist in single-elimination play

To be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director for this honor, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
