SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - Based on her performance in last week's volleyball matches against No. 4 Westmont, Embry Riddle of Arizona, and Arizona Christian, TMC junior Sam Dougherty (Madera, CA)  has earned the GSAC's "Women's Volleyball  Player of The Week" award.

Dougherty registered 39 kills (4.3 k/g), 22 digs (2.4 d/g) and six aces as the Mustangs won all three of those matches, including two three-set sweeps on the road at Embry-Riddle and Arizona Christian. In the four-set win over Westmont, the junior outside hitter notched a double-double with 29 kills (7.25 k/g) and 10 digs.
