Women's 2013 Track Schedule Released
December 21, 2012
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – The Master’s College Athletic Department has released the 2013 women’s track schedule.
The prestigious Stanford Invitational (March 29-30) and the highly esteemed Mt. Sac Relays (April 18-19) highlight the outdoor season.
“The most competitive athletes on our roster will enjoy competing head-to-head against some of the best collegians in the US, while allowing all of our athletes the opportunity of an appropriate platform to compete against the NAIA as a whole,” commented Mustang track coach Zach Schroeder. “We are very excited with the successful cross country season we have just finished and are very aware that we have a few athletes that are ready to claim more national titles.”
For the Lady Mustangs, an outstanding eighth-place performance by Hannah Kellerman (Sartell, MN) at the 2012 NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Championship will put the junior in contention to be a frontrunner for track in 2013. Schroeder plans on debuting Kellerman in the steeplechase where she will be expected to claim a conference title and potentially make a run at a national title.
“The Lady Mustangs have been working hard not just for a season, but for the past few years. We really expect the efforts they have put forward to be rewarded,” concluded Schroeder.
