EAGLE ROCK, Calif. – As the 2012 season winds down for The Master’s College distance squad, Saturday’s showing at the Occidental Invitational served the Mustangs well as Ayla Draper of the women’s distance team used the meet to continue preparations for the 2012 NAIA National Championships.

Draper set a new personal and school record, and claimed first place in her heat of the women’s 400m hurdles, finishing in 1:02.90.

Draper, who has had a fantastic season for the Mustangs, now sets her sights on the NAIA Championships. The meet will take place in Marion, Indiana, May 25-26.
