Lady Mustangs Shine at Mangrum

Meet Results:

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Master’s College women’s track and field team traveled to CSU San Marcos and competed at the 2013 Mangrum Invitational.

Ayla Draper (Visalia, CA) competed in the 400m hurdles and the 200 meter dash. Draper finished the 400m hurdles in 1 minute and 7.38 seconds.  In the 200 meter dash, Draper clocked a time of 26.42 seconds.

Karis Frankian (Saugus, CA), Micayla Frankian (Saugus, CA), Katrina Graham (Riverside, CA), and Hayley Parkinson (Canyon Country, CA) all competed in the 3000m.

Micayla Frankian highlighted the Lady Mustangs’ efforts in the 3000m as she won her heat  in 11:06.59, setting a new personal record along the way.  Younger sister Karis Frankian placed second in her heat at 10:00.10, setting a new school record along the way.  Graham posted a time of 10:47.86, while Parkinson finished the race at 11:30.58.

Hannah Kellerman (Sartell, MN) competed in the 1500m and the 800m. Kellerman placed fourth in the 1500m, clocking a time of 4 minutes and 39.33 seconds.  Kellerman’s time qualified her for nationals on the NAIA’s “A” standard.

In the 800m, Kellerman won her heat to the tune of 2:20.47.

Next up for the Lady Mustangs is the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational, on April 13.
