After shutting out the Cougars 2-0 on Saturday, the Lady Mustangs stayed undefeated at 8-0 and rose three spots in the national poll.  The Lady Mustangs debuted in the poll at No. 21 two weeks ago, improved five spots last week, and now sit right in the middle of the best 25 squads in the country.

They trail only Graceland of Iowa (9-1) in wins and are just one of six undefeated teams in the poll.  Three of those other squads without a loss are GSAC foes Vanguard (6-0 and ranked second), No. 6 Westmont (6-0-1), and No. 18 Concordia (4-0-2).  In addition, Biola (5-2), eked its way into the Top 25 for the first time at No. 24, giving the GSAC an impressive five teams in the poll.

Off to the best start in school history (the 2010 squad started 8-0-1), the Mustangs are enjoying a nine-day break before putting their undefeated record on the line at Biola on October 1.
