Vancouver, Wash. - The 13th-ranked Lady Mustangs exceeded expectations and came home from Vancouver, Wash. with a 10th place finish in the NAIA National Meet.

TMC finished with a team time of 1:36:21. Cal State San Marcos won the meet with a team time of 1:30:55.

Holly Kopp led the Lady Mustangs, as she has all year long, finishing 23rd in the individual scoring. Hannah Kellerman, Sarah Pattison, and Katrina Graham also ran impressive races, finishing 51st, 76th, and 78th respectively in a national race where 323 women competed.

A highlight for Coaches Zach and Amie Schroeder were the team's result being the second-best of the GSAC-conference schools that were competing, finishing ahead of both Biola's and Westmont's teams that entered the race ranked higher than the Lady Mustangs. (7th and 12th respectively.)

With Azusa Pacific, the 2nd place team nationally, leaving the conference after this season, The Master's College women's cross country team will be in prime position to earn its first conference title next season.
