Draper Earns NCCAA Award

Coming off a solid performance at the Westmont Invitational, TMC freshman Ayla Draper has been named the NCCAA's Women's Track and Field Athlete of the week. The award comes after Draper placed 2nd in the heptathlon, losing only to a member of the UCSB (University of California Santa Barbara) team. She scored 4024 points, which is currently the fourth best score in the NAIA and has definite potential of increasing her score over the season and earning herself a spot at the NAIA National meet.
